BOYS | Grades 5-7

 The National Basic Section for Boys (5-7) has students from several nationalities: Jordanian, Palestinian, Iraqi, Tunisian, Syrian, American and British. The Section has one computer lab and 2 scientific laboratories: Physics and Biology Lab – Chemistry and Geology Lab. It also has a library containing important books for students and educational platforms including: The (5-7) Section carries out varied activities to enrich the talents of students and discover it such as:  Drama and Painting, Sports activities like Football Leagues and Skills and Life and Cultural Skills.

BOYS | Grades 5-7

Othman Nakhleh

A highly qualified former teacher and principal at Sands National Academy Schools and many other schools in Jordan since 2005. Holder of a Higher Diploma in School Administration, Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sharia (Islamic Law) in 2001, Attended many training courses and educational workshops in educational administration and leadership.  

BOYS | Grades 9-12

Amer Abu Arab

Amer Abu Arab is a graduate of the College of Computer Science and Information Systems,where he completed his undergraduate studies and participated in various professional development courses, including Educational Leadership and Modern Teaching Methods.

Amer has extensive experience in educational and administrative roles within international schools.

Additionally, Amer has completed several training courses that reflect his commitment to fostering a collaborative work environment and improving educational outcomes.

BOYS | Grades 9-12

 The National Secondary Section for Boys (8-12) has students of several nationalities;
 Jordanian, Palestinian and Iraqi. The Section has one computer laboratory,
 and two scientific laboratories; One for Physics and Biology, and the other for Chemistry and Geology.
 The Section carries out various activities; Cultural, sports and guidance.

GIRLS | Grades 1-4

The Primary Section (1-4) includes a fully equipped computer lab and a scientific lab. There are also facilities like a cinema, a gym, and a covered playground at the section. The section provides two educational platforms for students:

  • "I Read"
  • Raz Kids

The (1-4) Section offers a weekly Activity Class and varied Student Clubs to fulfill students' needs and promote their scientific and cultural talents in a fun and entertaining atmosphere.

GIRLS | Grades 1-4

Maysoun Khanfar

Maysoun Khanfar holds a Bachelor's degree in Science and Mathematics Teaching, as well as a Master's degree in Education with a focus on Educational Foundations. Additionally, she holds an Advanced Diploma in Education with a specialization in Learning Disabilities.

Maysoun has extensive experience in the field of education, currently serving as the Head of the Foundation Section at Sands National Academy since 2019. She has also held positions as an educational supervisor and school principal at various schools.

In addition to her experience in general education, Maysoun has worked as an academic supervisor and trainer in higher education projects, reflecting her passion and commitment to enhancing the educational process.

GIRLS | Grades 5-9

Samar Zalbani

Samar Zalbani holds a Master's degree in Educational Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Primary Education. Samar has extensive experience in the educational field, currently serving as the Head of the National Basic Education Section for Girls (Grades 5-9) at Sands National Academy. Prior to this, she worked as an administrative assistant in the same department for two years and has held various leadership roles as a department head and principal at several schools. Samar is known for her strong administrative skills, including effective leadership, the use of modern technology, and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

   The National Basic Section for Girls (5-9), which has students from several Arab nationalities; Jordanian, Palestinian, Iraqi, Yemeni, Syrian, Libyan. The Section has one computer lab, and three scientific laboratories (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology), and educational platforms including:

   The (5-9) Section carries out a set of activities throughout the school year and during school hours (religious, cultural, sports, scientific) aimed at developing students’ personalities and talents and instilling the spirit of competition, creativity and cooperation among students. Moreover, all our activities bridge the gaps between teachers and students and break the school daily routine.

GIRLS | Grades 10-12

This section includes the Scientific and Literary streams, in addition to the BTEC Vocational Pathway, and comprises students from diverse Arab and non-Arab nationalities: Jordanian, Palestinian, Iraqi, American, Syrian, and Libyan.
The section is equipped with one computer lab and two shared scientific laboratories, providing a modern and supportive educational environment for all streams.

GIRLS | Grades 10-12

Samar Khader

Samar Khader holds a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Jordan. She began her professional career as an English teacher and later joined Sands National Academy, where she currently serves as the Head of the Secondary Education Department. With over 40 years of experience in the education field, she has completed numerous training courses that enhance her skills and competencies in the academic work.
