Grades 1-3

The International Section (Grades 1-3)
The International Section is home to students from diverse nationalities, including Iraqi, Syrian, Saudi, Libyan, Egyptian, Kuwaiti, Qatari, American, Norwegian, and Canadian.

The section features one computer lab, a shared science lab with the National Primary Section, and three educational platforms:

Support for Low-Achieving Students

Grades 1-3

Suad Mustafa

Suad Mustafa holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction, a Master’s degree in the same field, and a Bachelor’s degree in Education. She has extensive experience in university teaching, educational consulting, and curriculum development. Dr. Suad is also a distinguished researcher with notable contributions in the field of curriculum and instruction. 

Grades 4-8

Shireen Dawood

Shireen Dawood is the International Programs Head (Grades 4-8) at Sands National Academy, where she has over 20 years of experience in education and academic coordination. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature with a minor in French from Yarmouk University in Jordan.

The international Section (4-8) has students of several Arab and non-Arab nationalities; Jordanian, Iraqi, Egyptian, Yemeni, Libyan, Danish, American, Syrian, Canadian, and Indian. The department has one computer lab, and several educational platforms such as:

Grades 9-12

The International Secondary Section (Grades 9-12)
The International Secondary Section is home to students from a variety of Arab and non-Arab nationalities, including Jordanian, Palestinian, Saudi, Emirati, Kuwaiti, American, Pakistani, Indian, Syrian, Libyan, Canadian, Brazilian, and British.

Unique Features

  • Offers students the opportunity to obtain external certifications by studying for three consecutive years (Grades 9-12).
  • Provides multiple educational pathways (American or British systems) through the following programs:
    • SAT
    • AP
    • ACT1
    • ACT2

Facilities

  • Two Computer Labs:
    • One dedicated for boys.
    • One shared for girls with the National Girls' Section.
  • Two Science Labs:
    • A lab for Physics and Biology.
    • A lab for Chemistry and Earth Sciences.
  • Library:
    • A well-stocked library offering a variety of books and resources to meet the students' academic and cultural needs.

Grades 9-12

Adnan Qandeel

He has over 32 years of experience in education and administration. Adnan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Jordan and has worked as a secondary school Arabic teacher for 21 years. He also has 20 years of experience in school administration.
